WHY I CHOOSE THE ELEPHANT

I am sure you all have your minds made up on who you are going to vote for this Tuesday if you haven't already voted early. I am going to vote the only choice I feel is the right one for me. I have not gone quietly during this election and have loudly voiced my opinions on the matter. I am praying that the Lord will continue to Bless this great Nation, and we will all know the continued freedoms given to us by our forefathers, who so bravely sacrificed for us to have the liberties and freedoms we enjoy. I know this is the GREATEST country in the world and I thank God that I was blessed enough to be born under our great flag of the United States of America.

I salute the many men and women who have fought and died for our country and have been proud to do so.

My father was a World War II and Korean Conflict Veteran, he enlisted in 1939 before the war started for the United States. He spent 12 and a half years enlisted in the Army.

He trained the boys in his troops stateside, then they were shipped out and he would have another group to train. Ultimately he was sent to Germany where he was until the war was finally over. My mother was expecting my brother when my dad shipped out to Germany and he would not see his son before he was 9 months old.

My brother served in Vietnam and was drafted in 1969. He was sent to serve even though he suffered from Polio as a child (while my dad was still serving in the Army during the Korean Conflict ). He was the baby my mom was expecting when he was sent to Germany.

A dear friend of mine made the ultimate sacrifice for us in Vietnam.

I honor these great men for all they have done for us to preserve our freedom.

God Bless You who have done the same for us.

Please vote for the candidate who has sacrificed the same for us and loves

our flag and country.
