STRAY KATS AND RAT FINKS

Dewey, Oklahoma, my hometown, hosts the Stray Kats Custom Car Show, every year in May and it is one if the best around. It is truly a place where you will see everything and anything goes. My brother came up to attend and they had a good turn out even if it was storming most of the weekend. These guys are hard core and don't care if a little rain hits their windshield! After the car show they hang out at the Westin' Inn and have their own meet and greet session and it is always fun to do that too.

I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED RAT FINK SINCE I WAS A KID AND MY BIG BROTHER WAS ALL IMPRESSED WITH IT IN THE 50'S AND EARLY 1960'S

I really liked this car! You see there is a side of me you didn't know about!

Here is another Rat Fink

My brother loves these old Caddy's

Do you think Elvis was in the hotel?

I mean there are all kinds of cars here!

cute ones, ugly ones, ones of every kind and color

I loved this little red number also!

but one of the most unique cars was this one from Kansas City.....

nice tinted windows

nice pin stripping

yes, brother I see that....a hum......
aren't you talking about the horseshoe for good luck???????

oh, you mean the, hey you, symbol

check out the unique cup holder and the dash board light........

oh, and custom seats...............

cute and original don't you think?

Well it left Hubby and Brother so inspired we had to go kick tires at the local junk yard...

NO, I DON'T THINK SO HONEY...................

I have been so busy with a paint brush in hand I haven't posted or even hardly read my emails.....

I have been doing the interior of my mom's house she moved out of awhile back, getting it on the market to sell. It is so adorable and it is going to make a nice starter home for someone. I hope it will not sit long because we need to get it sold so we can start doing other projects. My husband is getting tired of lawn work at 3 houses and we have been dragging this out way to long now!

Well hopefully I will find more time soon to post, but I notice that alot of you are busy too with spring cleaning, etc. and your posts are not as often as they were before.

Time goes to darn fast for me!!!!!!

catch you later!
