This past week was the World Pinto Show being held in Tulsa Oklahoma and my cousins bring their show string in from Kentucky to participate there and then go on to the World Youth Paint Horse Show in Ft. Worth which is starting this week.



Karly rides and loves her Gelding Cool N Candid aka Spot. I just love his head and the way he is always watching everything going on and how alert he alway is.






This year Karly defended her Sr.Youth World Champion in Western Pleasure and then the next day went back to win Sr. Youth World Champion in Ideal Pinto and then 5th in the World in Disciplined Rail on her beloved Spot. We are all so proud of them both!!!!!












We always have a big time watching Karly show her horse and usually a yearling comes along for halter, this year it was Scooter the yearling. This is big boy Scooter












It's a hot job but somebody has to do it! :)







She cleans up pretty well too!





We had a very productive photo shoot at Woodward Park in Tulsa Monday night before they headed out to Ft. Worth. I wish Karly all the luck and I wish we could have gone down with her!!!

Great Aunt Dodi

My mom has been Dodi to my cousin and now her daughters, pictured here is my cousin and one of her daughters. It has also carried over to be Great Grandma Dodi to her great grandson. My mom still goes and does almost as much as she ever did at 85 years old and soon to turn over another year a little more than a month! She is amazing and I only hope to be doing as well at 60! :)

My mom's companion Zoe..........she is the sweetest old girl!




I just melt for those little BatMan Ears.......don't ask me why, I just do!!





Zoe is a litter mate to my dear Chloe who passed on last spring 08 from Cushings Disease.
Zoe is glad Jackie has come to play with her these days, she had missed Chloe so much after she was done bossing her around in this life. They get along really well, Zoe just can't run as fast as Jackie, but she does her best to try to keep up.

Creature from the Blue Lagoon?????

When we go to the big city I always have to look for this little creature! I have absolutely adored the whimsy of it since the first time I remember ever seeing it!
I want one for myself, hubby goes...oh, no..............everyone in the car looks at me like I have lost my mind! Poo on them.....they have no sense of mythical, whimscial anything!






Maybe I am going to have to go look for the real thing and see if I can document Nessie for the world to see!
