My girlfriend Carolyn Mock, and her other half Bill, at the Rio Grande Valley Arts Festival held in Albuquerque, New Mexico in conjuction with the Balloon Festival this past weekend. Carolyn was there selling her paintings and prints. You can check out some of her things here on my blog. Carolyn specializes in wildlife, but works in some really nice horse pieces also. You can also find her work in Crow's Nest catalogs. I have the horse piece hanging above my bed that is just above them. I have many of her works and I love them all.

Here Kitty, Kitty! Yikes!!!
Bill emailed this to us today! This little kitty cat was up on the wall of the courtyard of a neighbor of some of our friends, Bill & Vicky, just north of Albuquerque, N.M. Now I do believe he would make lunch of dogs, house cats, and kids....and maybe even adults if he got real hungry. He is really beautiful, but that would unnerve me to go walking after dinner like Bill and Vicky do with the dogs. He appears to be very young but still.......... Oh, but I do love the southwest! See those expensive stucco walls around the yard used to be taller for a reason in the old days! :)
